One year I spotted a couple dressed as the King's favorite food – a peanut butter and banana sandwich! The husband wore two giant foamy bread like forms with tan material peeking out of the sides while the wife wore a giant banana costume. Another time, I saw a group of Priscilla's complete with the black bee hive hairdos and heavy eye make-up.

But perhaps the most enjoyable and incredible aspect of Elvis Night would be the skydiving show. Yep, that's right – skydiving! Before the game starts a target is placed in short centerfield, a plane circles above the park and three skydivers float from the heaven's and land gently on the field. And as if that weren't exciting enough, at the end of the game they repeat the performance, only this time they float down in illuminated white jumpsuits! I'm not making this up! It's a fantastic sight!

Then, the celebration usually continues with another Elvis impersonator singing the classics on the field. Sometimes the crowd will also be entertained by a troop of middle aged men performing a routine while proudly donning, you guessed it, white jumpsuits! And it's not over yet! The “Cell” puts on a fabulous fireworks show set, of course, to the music of the King.

All in all, Elvis Night is an extraordinary and spectacular evening at the ballpark for baseball fans and Elvis fans alike. Oh, and did I mention that in between the skydivers and fireworks, there's an actual baseball game as well?
